Jeremy's Stewie slippers...for any of you who have never watched Family Guy...well this baby is one of the most foul-mouthed things ever to come along. And the show....well it has educated my kids in a way that maybe they didn't need to be educated. But I have to admit it's hilarious. So Jeremy got the slippers and he's very happy....he sleeps with them.

A very sad day here in Boston....the Boston Hotel burned down. Well actually it's still standing, because it is a brick building...but it's gutted and they've got it boarded up. It was quite a fire. This is the second building that was on the site. It burned once in the early 1900's and they rebuilt...and it's been there since then. It was a landmark, and everybody from miles and miles around would come here for clams...they had clams cheap on Monday's, and wings. And this is where you could get filet mignon to die for! So...RIP for now Boston Hotel.

New profile pic for me. I haven't updated my photos since I cut my hair, which needs to be cut again. But it doesn't matter really because any photo of me has a distracting black contraption in the middle of my face anyway, lol.

Here is my cute little dog...actually she's as wide as she is tall lately! Her gramma feeds her way too much junk, yikes she's spoiled! But at least she sits very pretty before getting treats that she shouldn't be having!

We made homemade pizzas for dinner, yum! We get all kinds of different toppings. The kids made individual pizzas, I'm pretty sure Barb and Cheyanne shared one, but we were all happy and full!

I was outside yesterday to snap a few shots, and there is nothing to take photos of here at this time of year...so I ended up with this! And since my main focus for this project is to learn how to use my camera in Manual mode, this works!

Keeping on schedule here....today I'm actually posting today's photo TODAY! Wow, I'm liking this project! I do spend a lot of time that I don't have looking at everybody's photos, I just love looking at photos! So...today's photo is totally random, just the kitchen table and window looking out onto the porch and into the yard. I just liked it, I don't know why.

Jeremy is taking care of this baby chinchilla. She was found wandering around in the basement, apparently she escaped from the cage shortly after she was born. We figured out which one was her mother and put her back, but she doesn't seem to be doing as well as we would like, so Jeremy is feeding her with a bottle. He really loves this baby :)

Here's the photo for Jan. 17. I made this perpetual calendar years ago, back when I was doing my cutting wood and painting everything. I made pieces for every holiday or occasion you can think of, and we've never lost any of them.

Then I edited the photo of Kate from the 14th, it was really kind of flat...so I did a sepia tone. I can't wait to take the class on post-processing from Michelle Pearson.

Well I guess this one kind of speaks for itself, lol. John and Kate and Matt have all had this terrible cold/flu. Now I'm coming down with it. Jeremy wants to get it so he can stay home from school, but he informed me that he doesn't get sick because he laughs all the time and that keeps him healthy. That's 13-year old logic for you. Funny though, there might just be something to it....I know it's not a healthy diet that keeps him healthy :)

Rock Band 2 for the PS3....the kids have so much fun with this game! These drums are so annoying though...oh well. This winter is brutal, so they are spending very little time outside and a lot of time inside. This is one of their favorite things to do right now.

Working on 365

Wow, I'm doing okay with this thing! I've got some layouts done, and have all my photos taken up to now. Not all are uploaded, but I'm working on it. I'm trying to figure out how to post the photos with frames, but easily so it's not gonna be a big deal, then I won't do it. (guess I know myself better than I thought, lol). Oh and I've been sucked into the Facebook thing. I guess it's pretty cool...good way to keep in touch with people. We'll see, I get bored with these things, like MySpace...so, we'll see. So here's my test photo, one that's already posted, but oh well. I'll post my other daily photos in a little bit.
